Brisbane is not as fast paced as Melbourne and Sydney. But Australia’s third large city is never short on leisure pursuits – whether it be cycling in the city, rock climbing by the river or scuba diving near Moreton Island.
Opposite the botanical gardens on the other side of the river, Kangaroo Point is linked by a good walking/ cycle path and there is a small strip o0f grass running along the side of the road with a railing to keep people from wondering close to the cliffs. I just simply just overs and I could find heaps of bolted sports climbs at my disposal with a fantastic railing to lean on the balaying! If you are into rock climbing is just too easy!!! There are up to 256 climbs at Kangaroo Point with a pretty wide range of grades (australian: 6 to 27; USA: less than 5.3 – more than 5.11 c). Brisbane really is a lucky city for active people!!!
