1. CLOTHES

T-shirts, shorts, and a sun hat of some sort, will probably be your staple wardrobe. If you come during winter (June to August) it’s worth taking a couple of warmer things, and a waterproof jacket. You’ll also need longer trousers/skirts/tops if you want to visit churches or go out at night.

2. SHOES

Walking Sandals or thongs (most of the people don’t like to walk for long time with thongs, I LIKE IT!) and SHOES, make sure, if you want to go out, go to the desert or do big trekkings you will need them!

3. TOWEL

I prefer the pareo is lighter than a towel and can be used as beach towel or for shower and you can wash it every day that it will dry…

4. CAMERA

it will be your treasure possession. (big memory card and charger!!)

5. ADAPTER

Australia uses a three-pin plug, but not the British kind. Invest in one!

6. FIRST AID SUPPLIES

you can buy it in Australia or bring it, you will need it if you inted to travel into the desert in  Northern Territory… (there’s not much out there)

7. GUIDE BOOK

I like Lonely Planet ones, but maybe you will need maps from the National Parks as well
